Toyota Car Club of Australia (Vic) Inc has been around for a number of years. Initially there were two clubs under the banners of the Celica Car Club of Victoria and the Toyota Owners Club of Victoria that had both been in existence since 1974. After the merger of the two clubs in 1992, it became the Toyota Car Club of Australia (Vic) Inc.
Toyota Car Club was started on the 27th of November 2004. The club was started as result of some local Toyota enthusiasts who felt the other 'National' Toyota groups and forums didn't accommodate them.
